The following product is from Alkemi Recycled Surface Materials from their Anodize collection and is called Koi 100. Koi 100 is a golden recycled metal that comes in a textured/classic finish as well as honed finish. This color in particular is typically used as a countertop for a glitzy and more upscale atmosphere because it is a gold. However there are other colors in the anodize collection.
According to the Alkemi website" Award winning ALKEMI is a SCS certified, LEED credits recieving, recycled surface material composed to post industrial scrap waste. Made from fine flake aluminum milling scrap ALKEMI leaves no hazardous footprint." The material requires no coating or sealing and has a variety of different finishes that can be applied to it. The material cannot be sanded or polished because it damage the texture.
The thickness of the material is 1/2" and 3/4" and the sheet dimensions are 36" x 120" or 36" x 96". The material is strong and durable and is a modern and fresh approach for commercial use counters and wall partitions. The price and availability vary depending on the demand for the product and the amount used.
