The following product comes for DuroDesign's bamboo flooring collection. The flooring comes in 58 different colors depending on the clientele's taste. The bamboo flooring can either be order in solid strip flooring or extra-wide engineered plank flooring. Solid strip bamboo flooring is very similar to traditional hardwood flooring while the engineered is installed as a floating floor .
The flooring is finished with MP765, a high-traffic water-base polyurethane system. There is no off gassing when this product is used to finish the flooring and the VOC content is very low due to the fact that it is water based. DuraDesign's bamboo flooring qualifies for the following LEED credits:
- LEED® MR Credit 6: Rapidly Renewable Materials
- LEED® EQ Credit 4: Low-Emitting Materials
The great thing about bamboo flooring is that it is just as durable if not more so than hardwood and it grows eight times faster and can be harvested more rapidly than wood.
Depending on the demand for the flooring at the time as well as the amount the client requires determines the availability and pricing of it.
